Education and Early Foundation
Dr. Chiara Castellucci began her journey in dentistry working in her father’s dental practice while still in high school. Observing his dedication to patients and commitment to excellence shaped her early understanding of compassionate, relationship-based care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University with a concentration in Health Sciences and Nutrition. She then completed a Pre-Medical Post Baccalaureate at Harvard Extension School while working as a dental assistant, further strengthening her clinical foundation before earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Clinical Philosophy
Dr. Castellucci believes dentistry should feel calm, informative, and personalized. Her approach emphasizes compassion, professionalism, and a gentle touch while delivering comprehensive, high quality care supported by modern technology.
She prioritizes patient education and collaborative planning so individuals feel informed and confident throughout treatment.
Esthetic and Restorative Focus
Dr. Castellucci has a particular interest in smile design, cosmetic refinement, and integrated facial aesthetics. She has completed advanced training in therapeutic and aesthetic Botox within the context of dentistry, allowing her to incorporate muscle balance and facial harmony into restorative treatment plans when appropriate.
Her background in head and neck anatomy, occlusion, and restorative care supports a conservative and precise approach to aesthetic enhancement.
Professional Development
Early in her career, Dr. Castellucci intentionally sought mentorship within practices that emphasized learning and clinical growth. She values continued education and remains committed to refining her techniques and expanding her knowledge.
In 2021, her prior practice merged with Lit Dental, allowing her to provide care within a purpose built environment designed for advanced restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. Castellucci grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts and, after years of studying and practicing in Boston, returned to the area with her husband Nick, whom she has known since childhood. They live locally with their three children.
Her connection to the community informs her commitment to building long term relationships with patients and families throughout Wayland and surrounding towns.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys time with family and friends, international soccer, cooking, travel, and exploring new restaurants.
