OUR STORY

Lit Dental Aesthetics & Implant Center was built on a simple idea:

Dentistry can feel different.

More thoughtful.
More personal.
More connected to the people it serves.

A PRACTICE REIMAGINED

In 2020, Dr. Miguel A. Ortiz and Colleen Ortiz took ownership of the practice during a time of global uncertainty.

Rather than simply maintaining what existed, they used that moment to rethink everything—from systems and safety to the overall patient experience.

Following a full shutdown and complete redesign of protocols, the practice reopened with a renewed focus:

To provide care that is both clinically exceptional and deeply patient-centered.

GROWTH THROUGH COLLABORATION

In 2021, Dr. Chiara Castellucci joined the practice, bringing with her a shared philosophy centered on thoughtful, patient-focused care.

Her addition expanded not only the size of the practice, but also the depth of perspective, clinical approach, and continuity of care we are able to provide.

BUILDING SOMETHING MORE

Later that year, the team took a defining step forward—purchasing the building at 233 Boston Post Road in Wayland.

What followed was not just a renovation, but the creation of a space designed with intention:

A place that supports:

  • Advanced, high-level dentistry

  • A calm and elevated patient experience

  • Education and collaboration

  • And connection within the community

Completed in 2024, the new space reflects the vision that has guided the practice from the beginning.

With natural light, modern technology, and views overlooking the Wayland wetlands, it offers an environment that feels both professional and welcoming.

BEYOND DENTISTRY

Today, Lit Dental is more than a place for treatment.

It is also a space for:

  • Continuing education, where dentists from around the world come to learn and train

  • Community events, including monthly gatherings featuring art, music, movement, and wellness

  • Collaboration, welcoming local businesses, artists, educators, and creators

Because we believe a dental practice can be part of something larger.

ROOTED IN FAMILY. PART OF THE COMMUNITY.

At its core, Lit Dental remains a family-run practice.

That foundation shapes everything we do—how we care for patients, how we work as a team, and how we show up in our community.

We are proud to serve Wayland and the surrounding areas—not just as providers, but as neighbors.
